This week I had an opportunity to make cookies for a little girl who has just been diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is 10 and loves penguins. I love penguins too!
I have never made penguin cookies so I looked at a few of my trusty cookie mentor sites to get some ideas but couldn't find what I wanted. (Want to see fabulous cookies? Check out some cookie geniuses I follow!) I turned to scrapbook sites and found a few really cute pics and decided to give it a try.

How nice of them to have the pattern ready for cutting! |
This cutie reminded me of Hello Kitty. |
It takes so much time to copy, re-size (a million times) and cut out designs. One day, I will have enough business to warrant buying a Kopykake projector. Until then, I'll keep on cutting!
I had a hard time containing myself as they took on personality.
What a difference a little bow makes!
I love how they turned out and I hope they bring a big smile to the sweet girl who will receive them in a few days. Pray for Kinley and her family as they begin this hard journey.
Take time to let your loved ones know how much they mean to you today and everyday!

I thought I'd show you my messy table too. |
I told you they were cute! |

They are just about the cutest things I've ever done.
